Who Is Responsible

Rueh is responsible for the processing described in this Privacy Policy. For privacy requests, account deletion, or data questions, contact us at info@rueh.app.

Data We Process

• Account data such as your email address, sign-in method, display name, and authentication identifiers.
• Meditation inputs such as intentions, preferences, selected voice, language, duration, and generated meditation content.
• Technical data such as device, browser, IP-derived region, security logs, and app usage events needed to operate the service.
• Payment and subscription status processed by Stripe. Rueh does not store full card numbers.
• Product analytics events from PostHog, such as page views, page leaves, device and browser information, referring URLs, approximate location derived from IP address, and interaction events used to understand and improve the app.
• Marketing measurement events from Meta Pixel, including safe page view, CTA, sample-audio, signup, checkout, and subscription events. Raw prompts, meditation text, names, and email addresses are not sent to Meta.

How We Use Data

We use personal data to create and store meditations, manage accounts, process subscriptions, secure the service, troubleshoot bugs, improve product quality, respond to support requests, understand how the app is used, and measure whether our app signup flow works.

Where applicable, processing is based on contract performance, your consent, legitimate interests in operating and improving Rueh, or legal obligations such as payment and tax records.

Analytics

We use PostHog to understand how visitors and users move through Rueh, which pages and features are used, and where the product experience needs improvement. PostHog may process usage events, page URLs, referrers, device and browser information, approximate location derived from IP address, and randomly assigned identifiers. We configure PostHog to use the EU ingestion host at eu.i.posthog.com and to create person profiles only for identified users.

We also use Meta Pixel for limited marketing measurement where enabled. Meta events are limited to safe product metadata such as page slugs, categories, sample IDs, CTA labels, plan names, boolean flags, and subscription status events.

Rueh should never send raw prompts, generated meditation text, emotional descriptions, names, email addresses, or other sensitive personal content to Meta.

Users can disable Meta Pixel tracking at any time via our cookie settings.

Cookie Preferences

You can manage cookie preferences via the cookie banner and choose whether optional PostHog analytics or Meta Pixel marketing measurement are enabled.

Service Providers

• Hosting, database, and infrastructure providers used to run Rueh securely.
• AI and audio providers used to generate meditation scripts, voices, ambience, and music.
• Stripe for payments, invoices, subscription management, and related compliance checks.
• Authentication and email providers for sign-in, account security, and password reset messages.
• Analytics and marketing measurement tools where enabled, including PostHog and Meta Pixel.

Providers may process data in Switzerland, the EEA, the United Kingdom, the United States, or other countries. When data is transferred internationally, we use appropriate safeguards where required.

Retention

We keep account and meditation data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide Rueh. Some records may be retained longer when required for security, accounting, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, or legal compliance.

Your Rights

• Access, correct, export, or delete your personal data where applicable.
• Object to or restrict certain processing where the law gives you that right.
• Withdraw consent for optional processing at any time without affecting earlier lawful processing.
• Contact us if you want your account or generated meditations removed.

Security

We use technical and organizational measures designed to protect personal data against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, and alteration. No internet service can be guaranteed to be perfectly secure, but we keep the amount of personal data we process as limited as practical.

Updates

We may update this Privacy Policy when the app, providers, or legal requirements change. The latest version will always be available on this page.
